Helping Athletes Build an Identity That Can’t Be Shaken

Rooted in Christ, not performance.

Building identity early before performance becomes the foundation.

High-School Seniors

College Athletes

Navigating pressure, expectations, and seasons of change.

Former Athletes

Rediscovering identity and purpose after the uniform comes off.

Why This Matters

  • Life is rushed, noisy, and full of comparison and “shoulds” (external noise).

  • We chase success defined by others and purpose solely in what we do.

  • We’ve become human doings rather than human beings.

  • Far too many men are isolating themselves to put-off this perception that It’s all good.

The Challenge

  • Burnout, stress, pressure, and a constant feeling of “not enough.”

  • We don’t trust ourselves; limiting beliefs creep in and hold us back (internal noise).

  • No one to challenge us—we consume advice, social media, and our own self-doubt like it’s the Truth. (living on autopilot)

The Problem

  • SHIFT your mindset, energy, and perspective.

  • Create intentional space to slow down, reflect, challenge yourself, and uncover answers within.

  • Structure to turn clear thoughts into real action, and grow.

  • Partnership to support the process and build accountability.

The Solution

Crowded city street with many blurred pedestrians crossing a busy intersection, tall buildings, trees, and traffic signals in the background.

WHO I WORK WITH

  • Former Player

Former athletes (typically 1-5 years removed from sports) who want more out of life, a new approach, more growth and faster growth, to live more aligned with their values, and to start feeling more like themselves.

  • Young football players in black and red uniforms warming up on a field with a coach or referee in a red shirt nearby.

    Current HS & College Athletes

High-school and college athletes who are juggling internal and external pressure, confusion, doubt, and are stepping into a whole new world of confidence.

  • Silhouette of a person kneeling by a foggy lake during sunrise or sunset, with trees in the background and tall grass in the foreground.

    Christian Men

Seeking more alignment in life, business, and faith. Living more like Christ, with bolder and genuine faith, in ALL areas of life.

  • Man standing against a wall covered with many sticky notes, some on his face and others floating around him, with various reminders and tasks written on them such as 'TAKE A BREAK,' 'EAT SLEEP,' and 'CHILL'.

    Entrepreneurs & High-Performers

Ready to level-up in life, business, and overall energy.

About Chris

Chris “CKat” Katrenick is a 2X Certified Professional Coach & former Division 1 quarterback.

  • This started with a “yes” on the table for God. Chris launched his coaching practice to support athletes in a unique way—without giving advice—and to do work that was more meaningful, energizing, value-aligned, and fun. There is a real joy that comes from having faith as part of your real life.

  • Athletes and high-performers face different challenges, noise, tactics from the enemy, and often have blind spots making it hard to know what’s really keeping them from this joy, peace, progress, fulfillment, or satisfaction. Coaching is a partnership that helps grow awareness, reveal blind spots, reveal unbelief, challenge doubts, quiet noise to hear God more clearly, get to the Truth, and build sustainable paths to success, each unique to the individual.
